SPRING SUMMER 2023 FASHION SHOW

Giuliano Calza leads the GCDS alien group, imagining an alien summer in a surreal nightclub (Alien Club), and the attire suitable for experiencing it: skimpy swimsuits, bodysuits as dazzling second skins, shimmering sequins that create wet surfaces, motocross outfits in bright colors, plenty of lurex and ribbed knits, fluorescents, and sparkles.

The feeling of being an alien is common. Sometimes we feel like aliens in the places where we once felt at home. GCDS transforms this feeling into a joyful force, embracing the colors of everyone, believing in the idea that being different is an opportunity and that minorities must be protected in order to progress.

Soundtrack

"Alien Disco" is the musical composition for the GCDS Spring Summer 2023 fashion show.
Written by Popa and produced by Katoo, it is identified as a Disco cocktail, a journey through Italian music from the groove of the 70s to the naïf power of the 90s.

Sfilate di moda

The historic Rotonda della Besana is transformed, on the occasion of the GCDS Spring Summer 2023 fashion show, into an ‘alien disco club’. The location, in the heart of Milan, comes to life once again thanks to a pulsing disco ball positioned in the center of the hall, which illuminates in time with the bright and fluorescent colors of the collection on the runway.
